The royal creatures living in the glorious castle of Metsärinne, under the care and protection of me, their most humble owner.

Duchess

8 years old Afghan Hound bitch. The leader of the pack, firm but fair, lazy, greedy and full of herself. Has a suspicion of laryngeal paralysis, but is coping fine with it.
Call name "Nadira".

Snow Princess

2 years old Afghan Hound bitch. Energetic, loving, dominant and stubborn adventurer, future heir of the throne.

Call name "Roya".

Jester

10 years old whippet male, neutered. Happy, kind, never wants bad for anyone. A sensitive soul, energetic, loves kids and puppies.

Call name "Karem".

General

11 years old miniature (medium) poodle, neutered. A bit over neurotic and widely respected second in command / co-ruler. Likes food, doing tricks and snow. Dislikes and disapproves many things with passion. Has arthritis, but is doing pretty OK with it.
Call name "Aaro".

Red Lady

9 years old dwarf poodle bitch, owned by my parents and living with them. Nervous, but affectionate, smart, has a severe allergy towards afghan hounds. 
Call name "Helmi".

Private and Trooper

Private is 4 years old albino pet line male ferret, who loves everything and everyone, except cold and wet things. Loves to play with a "fishing rod" and try to dig in trash bags. 

Call name "Armo Svensson".

Trooper is 6 years old sable 50% hybrid male ferret, who takes things VERY seriously. Likes long naps and walking outside or playing in his outside enclosure. Trooper has insulinoma and adrenal gland disease, but kicks butt even despite those. 

Call name "Herra Hittavainen".
